Generate customizable placeholder text for website mockups, layouts, and print publishing.
Lorem Ipsum has been the graphic and printing industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s. It originates from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of Cicero's philosophical treatise "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (On the Extremes of Good and Evil), written in 45 BC.
Designers use dummy text because meaningful readable content distracts viewers from evaluating the visual layout, typography, and hierarchy of a design mockup. The Latin words have a natural distribution of letters and word lengths that mimics normal written English.
